Ethical guide for editors
This guide was inspired by Wiley’s best practice guidelines on publishing ethics and uses the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) which aims to provide guidance in the reflection on publication ethics and practical resources to educate and support members of the scientific community.

Editors commit to ensuring that all manuscripts submitted to La Revue LEeE are treated confidentially until their (pre)publication. The contents of the manuscripts, the peer reviews, and the communications between the parties involved will not be disclosed to anyone without the permission of those concerned. This confidentiality clause may be waived under exceptional circumstances, for instance, to document a case of plagiarism or to resolve conflicts arising during the peer review process.
The editors undertake to ensure that their users database is secure and complies with data protection legislation (see mentions légales)
The editors are committed to managing the submission and review procedures, monitoring the quality of the texts published on "La Revue LEeE", and ensuring their dissemination (with the help of the authors).
Editors are required to report any information that may affect their objectivity and authenticity.
In the event of suspicion of plagiarism or self-plagiarism, editors undertake to investigate the case and to withdraw the publication if deemed necessary. Editors ensure to give authors the opportunity to respond to accusations of plagiarism before making any decision to withdraw the article. Because of the implications that such cases may have on the author's reputation and career, editors undertake to keep the case of plagiarism confidential and to inform the author of the withdrawal of the article in a concise and neutral manner, in the form of an educational explanatory text based on the assumption of a misunderstanding of the principles of plagiarism.
The editorial follow-up of the text is entrusted to a peer editor. In the case of a double-blind peer review, anonymity is guaranteed on both sides. Regardless of the peer review modality, editors do not participate in decisions about their own work.
